Trusted Patient Navigation with Heart and Clarity

About Gail Miller

Nurse. Advocate. Daughter. Mom. Lifelong Problem-Solver.

I’m Gail Miller — a registered nurse with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, including over a decade working side by side with a hospitalist to coordinate patient care from admission through discharge and beyond. I currently serve as a healthcare compliance auditor, and I’m also a mother of two daughters — one of whom is deafblind — and a caregiver to my mom, who is navigating the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease.

I started this advocacy and care navigation service because I know how complicated the healthcare system can be — not just from the inside, but from the outside, too.

I’ve worked inside the system — and walked beside families through it.

As a hospital-based RN, I spent 20 years helping patients and their families understand care plans, make informed decisions, and transition safely to the next phase of care. Whether that meant coordinating with specialists, home health, or rehabilitation facilities, I was often the bridge between what was happening in the hospital and what would happen next.

In my current role in compliance, I’ve developed a deep understanding of healthcare regulations and hospital operations — which allows me to advocate effectively, ask the right questions, and identify areas where things can easily go wrong for patients or caregivers.

I’ve also lived what many of my clients are going through.

My oldest daughter is deafblind, and advocating for her has been one of the most powerful, humbling, and eye-opening experiences of my life. My youngest is an active athlete with a demanding travel schedule, and my mother — who lives nearby — requires ongoing care, support, and companionship. I’m deeply grateful to be close to her, because if I weren’t, I would absolutely want someone like me nearby — someone who knows the system, who cares deeply, and who can step in with the insight and compassion every family deserves.

Why I do this work

I’m not here to replace your voice — I’m here to strengthen it. I help individuals and families navigate a system that often feels overwhelming, confusing, and impersonal. From reviewing medical documentation and coordinating care plans to advocating during appointments and helping you understand your rights, I bring both professional expertise and personal compassion to the table.

Healthcare decisions shouldn’t feel like a second full-time job.

Let me walk beside you — so you can focus on what matters most!
